Our Story

Maraton Sportswear, formerly known as Cebir Giyim, was founded in 1992 by Celal Kaya and his three brothers. The journey began in a modest cutting workshop in Laleli, Istanbul, where the company started producing tracksuits in a humble setting.

First Store

In 1997, Cebir Giyim opened its first retail store in Laleli. From that point forward, the company strengthened its relationships with clients in the Eastern European market, offering wholesale sales of its own products and securing a strong position in the industry.

Brand Evolution

Adapting to global trends and transformations, Cebir Giyim rebranded as Maraton Sportswear in 2000, embarking on a more focused and distinctive path. In 2001, the company established its dedicated Menswear Design Team to define its unique style. The Maraton Sportswear Collection quickly gained recognition and appreciation for its original and targeted designs.

Growing Market Presence

Today, Maraton Sportswear operates from its modern headquarters in Mahmutbey, Istanbul, covering an area of 9,800 m² and employing over 100 staff. With five retail stores located in Laleli and Merter, the brand continues to expand its market share and strives to deliver top-tier service within its segment while exploring new international markets.
